HOW DOES THE ORDERING PROCESS WORK?
For our Watercolor Collection and Photo Save the Dates, you can create your order right on our website! If you need to customize the order by adding a directions card or other pieces, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll happily create an order just for you. Once we’ve received your order, we’ll provide you with a digital proof of your design within 2 business days. Upon approval of the proof, the printing process begins.
For the letterpress Global Collection, you can download a PDF of pricing and color options. When you’re ready, simply contact us to get the process started. Let us know which invitation design you are interested in, how many invitations you need (don’t forget to factor in extras for keepsakes and any last-minute guest list additions), and we’ll get back to you right away with details.

When you receive your digital proof, please review all information very carefully before approving. Have a family member or friend review them too; a second pair of eyes is always a great idea. Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once final proofs are approved. We are not responsible for any spelling errors and may charge for reprints as necessary.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER MY INVITATIONS?
We recommend ordering your invitations at least 3-4 months in advance for local weddings or 6-7 months in advance for destination weddings. This will allow time for you to assemble, address and mail your invitations, while providing ample notice for your guests. For custom designs, please allow an extra 3-6 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.
DO YOU OFFER SAVE-THE-DATES?
Yes! In addition to our Photo Save the Dates, any of our Watercolor or Global Collection designs may be converted into a Save the Date. We can also create a custom design for you – please see our Custom page to get started.

HOW LONG DOES PRINTING TAKE?
Please allow 3 weeks for letterpress printing; 10 business days for flat printing, from time of proof approval. Rush printing may be available upon request.
HOW ARE MY INVITATIONS PRINTED?
Your invitations may be letterpress or flat printed. Our flat printed invitations are printed with a super fancy, high-quality digital printer on luxuriously thick, tree-free cotton stock.
Letterpress printing is a centuries-old technique in which ink is applied to a raised plate design and then impressed onto paper, creating a wonderfully tactile, elegant result that simply cannot be matched for its beauty and detail. Our expert, artisan printer hand-prints each invitation on press, with a careful eye for detail, color and impression.
CAN I USE DIFFERENT INK COLORS?
Yes! Please see the available ink colors for each design. If you don’t see the color you desire there, contact us and we can create an ink color just for you for line art designs. Watercolor designs are available in the combinations shown, and may be customized for an additional charge. Contact us for details.
Payment & Shipping
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and PayPal forms of payment. For custom orders, we require a 50% deposit up front before work is begun, and the remainder of payment is due upon your approval of a final proof, at which time printing is begun.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY INVITATIONS?
We carefully pack and ship your invitations, usually via UPS Ground, or USPS Priority Mail for international orders. Express shipping is available upon request.
A note to international buyers: Any duties and/or taxes are to be paid by buyer. Fine Day Press is not responsible for any duty charges.
